The Welcome Collaborative is now an accredited continuing professional development program with both the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) MAINPRO+ and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.

The 3-day orientation session has been certified for up to 20.0 credits for the MAINPRO+ and the MOC programs. The accreditation will be in place beginning with the March 2024 session and moving forward.

By accrediting this program, it will continue to support physician professional development, patient safety and quality of care.

The approval was certified by Dalhousie University Continuing Professional Development and Medical Education.
