In June, 13 physicians attended the 3-day orientation session delivered at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia. Of the participating physicians, one holds a Full licence, one holds an Academic licence, one holds a Clinical Assistant licence, while 10 have been issued a Defined licence and, as such, are under supervision on a pathway to independent licensure. This physician cohort included the following specialists: three in family medicine, three in internal medicine, two in obstetrics and gynaecology, two in anesthesiology, one in dermatology, one in psychiatry and one clinical assistant.

The next Welcome Collaborative is September 11–13, 2024. For more information contact: welcomecollaborative@cpsns.ns.ca.
