Eighteen physicians attended the 4-day March orientation session at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.

The physician orientation program covers four days of intensive discussion and training, which is intended to help physicians trained outside of Canada settle into their new practices.

Of the participating physicians, four hold a Full licence, one holds a Clinical Assessment licence, and one holds an Academic licence. The remaining 12 have been issued a Defined licence and, as such, are under supervision on a pathway to independent licensure.
