The Welcome Collaborative joins Nova Scotians in expressing appreciation for the work physicians do every day when providing patient care and promoting healthy communities.

Welcoming Academic Licensed Physicians

Academic licensees trained outside of Canada often face gaps in their onboarding to the healthcare system in Nova Scotia.  The Welcome Collaborative’s Advisory Council has recommended that these physicians could benefit from the Welcome Collaborative’s program support, mentorship and ongoing sense of community.
